Came home early because I wasn't feeling well (I can only assume it's swine flu... if only nitro had warned me yesterday) and decided to see what was happening over on Minna given that our server died today.

We all know the JPN players are great, but this still blew me away. Highland / Sackboy tour and the winner put up -26. He even lipped an eagle putt at #14 (the shortened par 4), and we finished with three straight holes of rain! Potentially more amazing is the fact that the score didn't even earn him top novice honors on the leaderboard, since some lunatic put up a -27 with Suzuki (also spotted a -25 on LT with Toro).

I would call these guys robots, but that doesn't quite seem do them justice.

Let's face it. There really is only one Par 4 eagle at Highland which is high probability, and that's #6. Holes #1 and #14 are somewhat easy to eagle with an expert character. But with a novice character, -23 should be viewed as a perfect round in my opinion. I just don't understand how people are posting such ridiculous scores at Highland. Perhaps I need a 1-on-1 clinic: "How to beat -25 at Highland." Any takers?

Well 14 is doable with a novice, if you've got Sophie or THE Sack it's pretty wide open to take a crack at. If you have Sack BigMag/Inf you could get away with a red rabbit, otherwise go blue unless you got lots of wind behind you. Long and right is where you want to miss, as that's a damn easy chip. I would say "Perfect" for Hland Novice would be -24.

Back when going deep at Hland with an expert was the thing to do, we would play 3-5 Hland gamerooms over the course of the day. I'm definitely a fan of Hlands and would be more than happy to play some GRs with you and anyone else, if not just for the fun of bashing it around.

#1 is a hole you should eagle at least half the time with an expert, 6 is an ace opportunity, eagle is routine, bird is soft reset. Then you've got holes like 5, 10, and 16 which you'll be pitching within 30-60y after a big tee shot (10 can be reached actually). Hole 17 is another ace opportunity for sure. Hland with an expert redefines having to play aggressively, it's very fun. Let me know if you want to play a few rounds.

Hells yeah. I'd play a game room with you anytime, Mason.

The wife is taking the kids to my mother-in-law's house this weekend. So, I'll be playing HSG most of Saturday evening. If you're around, I may take you up on that offer.

Oh, and before I take this thread too far off topic, sweet f-ing score, smug. You know dam well that -23 would win you a gold trophy on our server 9 out of 10 times. Too bad you posted that sick round in Robotland.

Not yet was thinking about it though... But now I don't think I have a chance :) but it still looks fun...

Minna is worth it if you would like to play on a server that almost always has at least 300 people on it with possibly 3 or 4 full tours per grade during peak hours. Not to mention a much more diverse schedule and probably 3 or 4 times as many lobby parts, I would highly recommend it to everyone :)

Agreed wholeheartedly, back in g1 Minna after a sojourn in g2 (safe from demote this time).

Button_PJ is semi-retired on int. server, Minna too much fun.

Lobby parts are awesome, Icehockey goalie today (g1 pod)

Score was -17 Ocean Reg Kraptos no wind gauge (-23 won)

Only had Minna 2 wks got 1st alby same round 2nd hole after chip in eag on 1st, pity I blew the back 9 (-12 front still in lead).
