Hmmmm some interesting local hazards here - if you OB will you get eaten by T-Rex? :D

Hopefully, voice chat will come when the update happens too - that would be a great bonus :)

the voice chat is here for matchplay only, you mean enhancing it to like 4 ball strokeplay etc....

Yeah, that's what I mean - I rarely play matchplay as I'm usually with a few more friends, but we often play 4-ball strokeplay. We use TeamSpeak most of the time anyway, but it would save switching on the computer and not all my friends have TS capabilities.

Ooooh! This looks awesome! "Jurassic Park" is one of my favorite movies, so this course looks to be right up my alley. They'd better not delay long before we get it here too!

Anyway, knowing it's on its way makes things seem a bit brighter for this game in any case. :)

So, where do you think this course scores on the difficulty level? Looks like it has some interesting traps, so I'm guessing about level with Silver Peaks?

mf! Now I have to order another 3000 yen PSN ticket and wait for 6 days to get it. Better do it now.

A lot of sites will send you the card info through an email, better than waiting for it to come in the mail.

I'm in the same boat though, only have 200 Yen left on my current card. You can't buy <i>anything</i> with 200 Yen at the jp store.

I am ordering the game from play-asia, how much yen will I need to account for all of the download content including this new course?

BeEmerson

I just ordered the same thing from the same place, Play-Asia. It worked the first time so why rock the boat? I'll probably just get everything they have at the jp store for Minna despite not knowing what some of those things are. ??? Should be playing "Dino Park" by Tuesday :D

Unfortantely with the new course 3000 yen won't do it anymore. 3000 gets you the current courses and characters including Toro. There were some other costumes and small items that I passed up but will purchase this time around. 5000 yen should get you everything with a bit to spare.

How much $$ is 5000 yen card approximately?

MasonR

You'll probably find it for $60 or so.

Wow that is crazy, so the download content for minna is as much as the game itself??

MasonR
11-26-2008, 02:06 PM
Well, the currency conversion is roughly $1 for 100 Yen. You're paying more because there really are no other alternatives. Also not to mention that they've got more dlc than we do. If we had everything and you added it up it would a higher $ amount than you'd think.

I think some of you would be surprised to find out that HSG/Minna dlc is actually cheaper than the dlc for a lot of games.

I would gladly pay more for any Minna dlc. I'm so enamored with Hot Shots/Minna that I have either postponed or cancelled plans to purchase the other games I was looking forward to. -Fallout 3...don't care anymore -Little Big Planet...thought I would have to get it, still sits on store shelf -Pacific Rift...forgotten. Just bring me more Minna content!

I was thinking about getting a 3000 yen card but may have to cancel it and change it to a 5000 yen card so I can get EVERYTHING. :)

P.S. - I don't know if I should have posted that link. Sry if I am outta line. :( ....Also if its cheaper somewhere else please let me know. (CDN $)

Course looks tough, I can't wait for a review from the minna players, but looking at the pics, I'm guessing it's maxed difficulty on long tee. PLEASE CLAP HANZ BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!

I'm gonna be so pissed if it's another mid-tier course. That's the problem with OOB/Minna, all the courses are too damn easy.

looks interesting. bout time there was a new course. I mean oceania was tough when you first started playing it, but its easier than safari after playing a lot..

i would quite like a new tough course. maybe a add-on novice..
I really can't be bothered with the costume packs.. seriously 4 for some costumes.. puh-lease..

MasonR
11-27-2008, 04:08 AM
Oceania has the hardest group of par 3s of any course, which I like.

Now if Jurassic CC has the hardest group of par 4s, we'd be on the right track. ^^

I'd like to see them get away from the standard 10 4s, 4 5s and 4 3s setup that most courses (and all the ones in HSG history, iirc) follow. Maybe 6 of each? That'd be fun.

i can sense large par 5's and par 4's greens where if you aint in the ring then just accept two putts!!

be careful about ordering yen if you need it quickly find a site that emails you the code after payment has been given, as i believe play asia dont do this, they mail you the card which is not really needed , you just need the code

MasonR
11-27-2008, 04:18 AM
Yeah, play-asia just sends the card, it's the only import item that I don't buy from play-asia. You want an independant dealer for the cards.
