Just registered myself...my online names are at the bottom if anyone wants to add me...would be cool though if they let you link this forum to your online profile so people can browse your top scores on each course...may help you find an opponent around your skill level.

mostly evenings 6-11PM EDT... I'm new still G3 could be G2 in a day or 2 depends when
I play next. 8 games 7 points... does it reset itself? should I manually keep track of my progress?

rowdybusch i will gladly play with u and about ur G3 question i don't really know all what i know u need 8 point to get to G2 which mean at least 4 pods, or 2 2nd place and 1 pod , or 2 wins.

Before loading the game on your PS3 home screen, if you go all the way over to the right, I think thats where all the network options are. There should be an option to add friend. You can also send messages to people as well through there. I think if you hit start in the online lobby of the game too you can read and send messages while in game.

-online or in game stat tracking and comparison with friends and others (can the PS3 upload player information to a site?)

Thats why the first thing I always select when playing an online game anew with voice chat is mute all...Still it would be nice to allow certain people to talk to me. That or only have voice chat enabled on the menu screen between holes.

haa haa yeah and i remember my struggles too yuna!!

i think not playing this game since eg2 on the playstion 2 i think kinda meant a huge learning curve as we did not get HSGfore!! in europe, once i got this game i could not help but go online straight away without any great thought in learning the game......i decided to learn and play online at same time, could not resist the lobby thing i guess!!

yeah PS3 is region free, i was talking about the PS2 version that i missed out on but i could have gotten it as my PS2 could play NTSC games, just that it was not advertised over here

Yeah, hsg4 was a blast. you could probably get it on ebay for less than $10

I never beat it when I played it, got real close, but I did get all the characters. I may have to dust it off and give it another go!
