Don't use Infinity ball/club. ;)

Make sure you pay attention to your ball percentages. If you have 93-95% for example, and you have 150y to go, it would be 1.5 y for each percent. if you have 200 y to go, it would 2y for each %. So if you hit 95% you lose 7.5y on 150y and 10y on 200 y. This is of course a factor after you line up your ball with wind, ball lie, slope, ball degree, ect. In that case of 93-95%, I shoot at 94-95% hoping I dont get that 93%, but it would just be a factor of another 1.5-2y for that additional %.
So in the rain, it is all about your hit percentages.
This is also assuming you hit your ball at full 100% capacity on your swing.
Oh, BTW, I dont think you should listen to me cuz I suck in the rain! :'(

Most G1 tours are rainy with standard which make it even more difficult. Thanks guys for the tips.

I guess the thing i could say about this is be careful on your ball and club selection. if you are playing a rain tour try not to pick a someone that is poor in rain or choose the combo to elminate that fault.

If you're forced to play a character that has a rain weakness, like Alex, you can't eliminate that weakness. So with those character it doesn't matter what club and ball selection you use, because you'll get the lower %'s no matter what you do. An inf/inf setup is just as good as anything else there...
If you get to play a character that doesn't have a rain weakness just stay away from the inf equipment and you're set as well as can be... At least as far as the %'s are concerned. ;)

Advice for rain? I dunno. Get into your happy place and hit perfect impact as much as possible! If you're missing perfect impact a lot, then just club up. Pretend there's no rain at all, choose your club, and then right before you take your swing take one club bigger. And make sure you hit your putts firm. The ball won't roll well on a wet green, so you need to add a few more inches to each putt. If you lip out, so be it. Better than coming up short, right?

One more thing. Rain will take away some of the impact from the wind, too. I'd say the wind will be about 75% as strong as you're expecting it to be. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a 7mph sidewind and then overadjusted for it, causing me to plunk it right in a bunker.

That's pretty good advice on most holes, but at some holes, especially at Crown, it might just be too much, and a simple power up might be the way to go. I don't know how many times I've rolled off the green and into the water on #6 with that approach, but it's been a few. ;)
If you have a 95-97% approach the standard club you'd use without rain is probably gonna be enough, at least with power, if you get 97%... On a 200y club those 3% just means 6y, and those kinds of %'s you might even see in a rain free tournament...
Good advice about the wind, though. I'll keep that one in mind! :)
