silver peaks glitch

guys bear with me on this as it's hard to put into words.........

playing a G1 tourney last night silver peaks and i was sitting 5th out of 38 on -4 at the 11th hole when............

drive straight down middle, second shot(novice character) requires a wood, uphill 210 yards to green ........anyway hit a screamer and you know as soon as you hit it if the golf character mumble " yeah" or " i'll take it", you know your got a chance of landing in the ringed area and a possible birdie chance , anyways low and behold i land in the ringed area and the ball dropped through the green , i dont mean ran through the green but actually just went straight though into the unknown void!!!, i got a OB, i was that unsure i watched the replay and it confirmed what happened, needless to say i then timedout in complete shock, G1 is hard enough for me without these problems.

anyone else had a similar glitch !!!

I've seen a few people report something like this, hasn't happened to me yet thank god. As far as I know there isn't anything you can do to prevent it, but the chances of it happening are very small. Kinda sucks about the tournament though.

I had it happen to me once as well too during an online tournament...I want to say it was on Highland though...

Probably just a glitch in general...nothing to do with the course...sucks though...

imaging wining by say 1 or even 2 shots going down 18th in a tourney and that happens..........OUCH!!!

i'm thinking, TV, size 9 shoe, PS3 and a window.

Wow, way to revive a two year old thread. ;)

No, I doubt it has been fixed. Is it a constant problem for you? Because most people will never get that glitch anyway, the chance of hitting that exact spot are so marginal you'll hardly ever see it happen. When/if it happens you'll just have to write it off as a slight flaw and remind yourself that no game is perfect, no matter what. ;) Personally, I've never encountered any such glitch myself in over 1200 rounds...

I haven't had it happen to me too, and I hope it doesn't. It would be a very cheap way to lose the round in my mind.
