Yep its a tough one to call on this Nitro considering the mass diversity of players. We go from 10 years to 60 years, EST, PST, CST, GMT, GMT+ ?. We have tried setting times for play before and agreed it does help most people commit to certain periods where they can get online and play but for others it never works and you are always left with people who miss out. Whats good for Player A at 8pm EST on a Monday night is not good for Player B because they work or have a family commitment. I hear what you are saying but that is why for most events we try and work with time periods for getting set matches/brakcets/fixtures done and rely on all the members to arrange their fixtures through the thread. It's a learning curve for everyone and we'll always make the odd mistake here and there but all in all i think we almost always get there in the end. ;D

if we can get at least 4 mods per time zone that would work as well for both OT2 and OOB

Yeah this is a tough one, even with good communication between players it can be very difficult to arrange games sometimes. Some folk can only play at weekends and some only a few hours on an evening etc and if your in different timezones then it can take some time before something can be sorted that suits everyone.
Regarding league games things seem to be improving from the past, with more moderators we now have multiple times per day when we can play which is the best way to go imo. Hopefully this can keep expanding and it will give more people the oppertunity to play and join in the fun :)

Truth be told, this has been a subject of discussion lately amongst the staff.
The Season/League matches work very well with set times throughout the week, at different times of day. With all of the options, we have a very sizeable turnout every week that is still continuing to grow.
We are already discussing possibly extending this format to other events. It works well with events like league play and Rival Arena, but won't work as well for scheduled 1 on 1 matches.
Thanks for the suggestion, we are taking it into consideration as we look to future events.

Thats why we have as many moderators as we do, diversity of times. It was nice of OG to offer earlier league times to accomodate the euro players. As we grow, I think the times will increase as well. We try to help out everyone we can :)

So the bottom line is that it really comes down to the type of event we're running. If the event can support setting up set times every week that players can just show up and play their game then we will look more into that in the future. But in the events where it's just 1 on 1, or even 2 on 2, then arranging times between players is still the only option. And for the most part, that has worked out so far. :) But we will always listen to good suggestions of how to improve even further. :)
