I managed to get through in 4 games .. 2 wins but holy crikeys you guys weren't kidding when you said how good these guys and gals are over there .. nothing and i mean NOTHING like g3 on the international server lol .. G2 here i come pray for me please !!

Yeah, the competition is much steeper there. I remember one g3 tourney. Highlands 9h in Yukino. Winning score was -13. I was like Holy F!! :o People were eagle-ing and alby-ing left and right.

As far as g2 goes, it's like g0 over here. Maybe a little weaker. I played 18 holes Oceania tourney yesterday. Winning score was -17. (Not me.) Not to far off from what we're used to seeing over here haha!

g2 aint that bad really but g1 is pretty tough ...........

Good Going Kronzzz. It certainly is a reality check over there. G2 is a bit tougher you can maybe afford 1 or 2 pars in a round but on Highland or Oki forget it! You;ll get to G1 in very quick time i'm sure and then you can join me - until you bypass me that is on your way to G0. Stuck in g1 at the moment and it's getting on my nerves!

G1 is what we in the UK would call the coca cola championship............. very tough , very close games, but hard to escape from.

there is no disgrace in G1 minna thats for sure and i fully expect to be back there after 20 g0 games.

I genereally get to play a couple of tours on Minna every afternoon now becasue their peak time coincides with me putting my kid down for his afternoon nap but since Resi came out i've just been playing that. Got all weapons upgrade now just need to got through on Amatuer to get some S ranks and some of those more obsure tropheys. Then i might start picking minna up again.

If these Japanese players are so incredible, why aren't they dominating the leaderboard on our server? With all the G0's creating second accounts to clean up on the G1 tourneys, you would think we'd see tons of Minna G0's over here stealing our G0 pods. I can't imagine their culture frowns upon that sort of thing. There must be some other reason.

The Japanese players are incredible, however they are fair weather golfers! Any rain on the horizon and they become pretty average. As a culture they could be compared to the infinity club - great for control and spin but absolute sh!te in the rain.

They are far from pampered, have you ever played a tour with no landing indicator and no yardage indicator? They are incredible, and if they had to play our schedule, they would adjust to it in no time, I am sure of that.

You are sure a legendary player if you are a G0 in Mingol5, hope you can play a steady -20 in Highlands to Oceania in both tees to avoid being an elevator in G1 and G0. G2 is still easy to promote FMP.

Yep those tournies are great. Especially when you automatically go to move the arrow across to a shortcut you normally take and then think "OH F" i forgot the arrow and grid aren't there!

Percentage wise though they tend to have a lot more tournies in general without specified rules. You rarely see a strong wind or rain tournament over there but you do get a lot of +2 stuff or no backspin/superspin. They really like to mix it up.

Reeja - don't know if you've noticed though, when playing in a tournament they are all for points, lots of chip ins hole out eags etc but the moment the rain does come, the brakes go on and we, (international crew) tend to pull back a couple of shots. I played in a G-Rex tournie the other day where i was three shots of the lead just below the pods and we had five striaght holes of rain and i ended up joint leader. (Missed the win by style points on the 18th :'().

Yes I agree, rain does level the field abit, but my point is if they had to play in rain tours constantly, they would become just as dominant in the rain as the are in the sunshine. I love G-Rex tours there specifically because you are almost guaranteed some rain. :)

i would agree that the g3's would have problems in rain tourn g0's on int server, and even most of the g1's. g0's though? they would need almost a day to adjust. then they would be pulling -20's on the last 4 courses as per normal. most do air rising constantly, %does not matter for that.

on side note, saw a great stat sheet yesterday. -27 highlands, worst score was -22 shared between 3 courses. on back it was -25 highlands and -21 on g-rex.

also saw a different g0 with around 300 total tourns played. -27 highland 0 for crown +6 for grex. must have only played highlands thru euro.

hahaha just got out of a g2 tourny intermediate euro 18 holes shot a somewhat decent -16 and still got shafted for a pod on points lol .. winner finished with -21 lmao im loving the competition over there its insane ^_^

Well got through g2 in 10 games with a -17 domination of euro with Jasmine 5 strokes up on second, had dr.Amazak cheering me on lol .. g1 here i come!

i am curious what the bottom players in these events shot? like what if youre new? even after i had leveld up to lvl 15 offline - theres no way i could complete at that level once coming online. hell to be honest - i dont think i could compete consistantly at this level now.

it just baffles me what the casual player does, or is there such a thing? is it just a case of get this good - or your s.o.l. you cant tell me everyone in the damn country is that competetive? to me it seems they almost need to expand the levels in jp - and i bet they will. i wouldnt be surprised one day to see g5-g0.

There are tons of people who are just average in the game. There are g2s and g3s that have 1000s of games played in there respective grades. It isn't so much about advancing in Minna for me as it is just getting to play a wide variety of tournaments with options to choose from multiple tournaments instead of what we have which is whatever will fill.

OMG, I just grabbed another 2nd to get to G2 over there. Euro LT with Novice...the person leading the pack shot a -18, (G3???) That was nuts. Rest of us were -12 and so forth.
