View Full Version : Site Upgrade Completed

Thank you for all of your patience. The major part of the site upgrade has been completed. The site has been completely redesigned, and integrated with the main website. There have been some new features added to the community, and there are still quite a few more that are still to come.

Thanx again for all of your patience, and PLEASE chime in if you are having any issues or just any general questions.

All posts and ladder matches should be current from the old site.

There are still a few minor bugs we are working out. They are anything major, so rather than delay the reopening of the site any longer than we already have, I have went ahead and opened our doors back up and will be correcting everything in the very near future. But for now, i'm going to take a nap!!!

The only known issue so far is that the images for the ladder are not displaying. However, its functionality should still be operational.

Site looking a lot more user friendly, ill now have to learn how to renavigate it lol.

Post about the time is right, ten mins slow ish.

Nothing really new to navigate other than a fresher homepage. If you prefer, you can just set your bookmarks directly to http://www.hotshotsgolf.com/index.php?action=forum and that will take you right to the forum. HOWEVER, we will now be using the new homepage for news items and stuff, so you may miss out on that.

I tried to view Shaqs league update through the link on his post but it directed me to another login and said the page is either off limits of missing. I tried to login again from that page but nothing happened. Is there another way to view the league standings? Thanks.

Morph, the new site looks very nice. Seems cleaner and less cluttered. There are a couple of things:

1. The black text on the dark green background (the breadcumb links, for example) can be hard to read, especially with my poor excuse for a laptop screen (which has a optimal viewing angle that must be no wider than 5 degrees lol).

2. It would be nice if the ladder rankings on the main page had some sort of link on them or below them to the full ladders.

Otherwise, looks great!

Just a quick tip. As you may or may not have noticed, many of the boxes/blocks on the new homepage are collapsible by clicking on the small black triangle in the top right corner of each block (not all blocks have them). You can collapse the boxes that you don't want to see, and your display settings should remain the same each time you logout and log back in.

Hey Morph, I just noticed that the HOME/COMMUNITY/SEARCH/CONTACT buttons at the top we not working.... I know they used to work but now I cannot click on them.... anyone else having this problem?

Disabled them temporarily to do some updates. They are enabled again.

M have you thought of putting in a google search feature on the home page?
Would be a nice touch i think.
