Too late to get Minna?

For some strange reason, I'm feeling that itch to buy Minna No Golf 5. I see that it can be had for just under $50 at www.play-asia.com (http://www.play-asia.com). I was hoping it would be a bit cheaper given how old the game is, but that's not too bad.

I feel like I could use a good butt-kicking to get me into top shape. So, what do you think? Is it too late to join the party? Is Minna 6 coming out soon enough that I'd be better off waiting? Is it tough to buy the downloadable content from the Japanese store? Do I really want to have to earn all the characters all over again and then work to max their loyalty all over again? Tournaments without yardage indicators? That's crazy. Real-life golfers always know the distance to the pin.

This would be a significant investment of time (and some money) to make a serious attempt at Minna. Is it worth it at this late stage in the game? Or am I better off waiting for the next version of Minna?

Yeah J is 83974239084790234% worth it! Great competition more variety and it will improve your game alot. I grabbed the Playstations best version for 45$ and free shipping which made it a no brainer. There are some crazy tours over there like no aim marker so your pretty much almost guessing where to drive the ball, makes for great fun

I don't have Minna but I think there are tours without the triangle aiming marker, but I would bet there's still the yardage remaining on the lower left. Whoever has Minna, can you verify?

I'd love to get Minna, but honestly I don't play HSG a lot as it is. I was starting to play more until they started the easter event and messed things up. I'm confident though that they'll change the schedule back to what it was. There is a server maintenance scheduled for Monday, the day after the easter event is over.

^^ That's true. I forgot about that. The upcoming (HSG/EGWT) events look pretty good, but I really hope they don't stay at 2 floors the entire time. Not keeping my hopes up. Maybe I should get Minna after all.
