Anywayz, how does one get video from their PS3 to the computer to the internet? Is there somethng special that you need to have loaded on your ps3?

At this point, there are two ways to capture HSG videos:

#1 - record video of screen on camcorder

#2 - a video capture device - the better looking, but much more expensive option - basically you would plug the HDMI output from the PS3 into the capture device that will then create a video file on your PC

I heard a rumour about a firmware update that will enable a video capture option from the XMB - then the video can be uploaded from the PS3 to youtube - anyone hear about this?

I heard the same thing and the links to various video web sites that have recently appeared on the home internet page on the PS3 internet platform appear to validate this.
