I'm a big HSG fan, though only an average player who wants to get better and compete with some of you.

I was directed here from the IGN boards, we use to have weekly game nights but those evaporated over the months.

So how does everyone go about getting together and enjoying a good night of golf or tournaments?

Do you play OT2 or OOB?

Welcome, Pagusas! I'm glad you came over. :) There's so much going on here, it's hard to know where to start. I'm going to let others recommend their favorite ways of using the site and getting together for games. Lots of events, leagues, and a match play-style ladder. And of course, you can just hang and enjoy the community. The site's more active in the afternoon, but if you don't get your initial q's answered here, you can always PM me! Cheers and see ya on IGN.

Both :) but i prefer OOB, as when i play its more my "relax time at home" and I generally play OT2 on the road without a wifi connection.

Thanks Opti for recommending coming here! Its been awhile sence ive had time to do much of anything game wise thanks to moving, new job, buying a house and getting ready for that move from the apt to the home (my first Home :D )

But I missed our IGN nights so much had to find an alternative!

Welcome to the site Pagusas, if you have any questions feel free and ask whatever you need on the forum. As for the tournaments you can sign up for those to enter. As for the league, you can just show up for that :)

If you go the league topic you can see a bunch of times we setup available for you to show up. If you have any questions or you are having trouble finding some ( there is alot of information here) just message me or another moderator.

Well thank you all! the hardest part of getting started is just going to be finding the free time. At this movement i've started a relatively new job, just bought a house, am in the process of moving, and working on starting a family. Lot to fit into a 24 hour day (along with real golfing might I add!). But starting next Monday I fully intend to dedicate a few hours a week to this.
