Since Yesterday Problem Connecting

Been running HSG for awhile now, but since yesterday, when I was about to be submitted to a G1 tournament at Oceana, disconnected and brought me back to online menu. Trying to get back in took awhile. Once I'm in the lobby, as i select tournament, that takes a while to load, says loading and 45 seconds later I get the schedule. After I play a game room or tournament, takes awhile to get me back into the lobby, then disconnects me back to online menu. I check if i am still signed in to PSN, and I am.
Anyone else seeing these sysmptoms since yesterday.

I dont believe so. Sounds like your net connection is unstable. You on wireless or hardline cable?

on wireless, but i'm never disconnected from PSN, just HSG, weird ...

try turning off your system, then restarting it. the amount of information from the HSG server is very large, and if you dont have a good connection with your isp, it may not want to work.

Also, if you have another ps3 in your house and you are logged off of the server on hotshotsgolf but did not completely leave the game, the server will recongnize you as being logged into the game already.

this happens to me on several occasions. Even if you logged out of your id on one ps3, you are still logged into the server until you quit the game.

I'm having the exact same problem since yesterday. Everything else with my network connection is fine. So something's up with HSG I think.

Been having the same problem. It started at the same time yours did as I was entering a G1 oceania tourney. I also tried minna and ran into similer probs.

Same issue here too started yesterday evening Thursday 4/16/09 and continues today. I have been online with HSG for 2 months with no problems.

Before reading these boards (duh), I called Sony support - they had me reset my PS3 to default settings, re-did the network (wireless) and when that didn't work they had me delete the HSG game utility data. I reloaded the disk, and it did the install, but now I still can't get online to re-download updates and access the lobby. So, I'm stuck playing offline for now.

Good to see I'm not the only one. What I have noticed is the following: when i book a tournament, the screen is stuck at submitting entry when entering the tournament. have to quit game at this point. So for now I dont book anymore and jump into the tournaments. That works pretty well. Other symptoms, when trying to book, it says i cant register cause lost of connection, but still brings me to lobby. I even brought my wifi next to ps3 just in case, same thing. Yes , as others have verified, it all started right when that Oceana G1 tourney was gonna start.

I could not even get to the lobby select screen last night, froze up with a different character pointing at me and smiling, other games worked fine online though.

I'm having this problem too. I can get on line but I can't get in the lobby. I have to re-sign in to get in lobby but when join room my screen stuck in loading then I get the 01 error code [ not sure 01 or 001 ] I have to re-sign in all over again. this whole time I got disconnected I can see psn working fine. any thought?? help? I normally can handle this kind of thing but this is something new :'(

NOTE: I try COD on line and it's work fine. Really don't know what caused all this problem. Obviously my internet connection is fine. I did re-cycle router and tested the net work so problem is not internet connection. :-\
