Just a quick tip. You can create temporary rooms in the chat lounge here on the site in case you want to have conversations with players apart from the main lounge.

I know several players have started using the chatroom here on the forum for in-game communications (especialy for OT2), rather than using the actual built-in game communications.

<hr>

When in the main chat lounge, at the top of the chat window, towards the middle you will see an "ADD" button. Click here to create a new room.

You can name the room, and set it to public or private.

Once the room is created, you can now click on the dropdown menu next to the "ADD" button, and select which room you would like to chat in.

Once everyone has left the room and all chat sessions have been closed, that temporary room will go away.

Hey Everyone! If you're reading this, and you haven't already tried out the chatroom feature on the site ---- DO IT NOW!!!

Read Morph's post at the top, and start USING the chatrooms. Feel free to make your own rooms. Get to know some of our other members.

You can make a subject-named roomed, and try to get a conversation going about something specific, or just go in and enjoy a little convo :-)

I've made a few friends through the chatroom --- TRY IT! :)

I can't remember who told me about it, but one night there were about 6 of us in the "clubhouse" and I opened a private chat for the 5 of us that were playing a round in an OT2 event. Unfortunately, the 6th person in the clubhouse was being a pain in the **** that night, so I sent a Private Message to each of the other 4 with the password that I had set for the room and we all went into the private room so that we could play our round and chat with each other without being bothered by someone that was not playing, just being a pain.

It worked just great!!! It's an awesome tool to have!! :)

You can also use the already set up Game Rooms for chatting, too, if you don't want to set up your own room. We've done that before, too and it works great for moving a group of people that are playing in an event or casual round or big ladder match. It keeps the clubhouse from becoming so busy that you can't tell what is going on because so many people are chatting all at the same time. :)

Its actually RECOMMENDED that anyone playing matches use any of the preset gamerooms. That will leave the main lounge for general chat that isn't bombarded by "NS!!" or "OB!!!" or random in-game comments that wouldn't apply to casual chatters.

It is a nice way if you have private games. I would do that more often if appropriate. :)
