New update out for the PS3. I think the title's version number is correct. It is taking forever to update on my system and I usually have a relatively fast connection. ??? >:( :(

This is a minor update that improves the playback quality of some PS3 format software.

GRRR I was hoping they were gonna say:
This is a major update that introduces recording capabilities and saving them to your HDD. Oh well.

woohoo another stupid update, I keep hoping for more games being backdated with trophies but I am guessing that ship has sailed for good :(

Just realized I started downloading the demo for eternal sonata last night, turned my machine off right after starting the download then started the update just as I turned it on tonight so its probably trying to do both which is why it is taking forever. ::)

wow, i have cable internet and was taking bout 10 mins and then whamo! It failed, bad homing i guess.LOL! Will try again tomarrow, Can't wait to get my new used PS3 500g so I don't have to share my golf time with daughter anymore, tell me that ain't a bit of an addiction, or obesesive, complulsive living. LOL
