Ok, so I've noticed this fairly recently when I tried some matchplay games, and again today when me and poppers were playing some matchplay.

whenever i play in a matchplay game, even if it's on the "world server", if it is hosted by someone in the u.s. there is a very very high probability that there will be a connection lost msg for both people.

Poppers was able to host it fne from finland, and we played, and all was well.

but whenever i hosted, it would dc us after my first shot.

and like i said, i've seen it happen with 2 us players on the "world" server in matchplay.

wtf is up with it?

ok and now we get dc'd even when he hosted.

does claphanz have their matchplay server hosted on someone's old pentium 1 or something?!

maybe it's a port or router conflict between 2 users. it sounds like something that used to happen to me in a different game i used to play on another platform whenever i played a particular player, then it would be fine whenever i played somebody else. could network encryption affect psp-2-psp connectivity/host ability? maybe a FW conflict? it's frustrating, i feel your pain but have no answer. i just pretend i'm lee ving and swear at the thing when something like that happens. compare FW & ntwrk encyrpt
