What's the different ?

I think some greens on Minna are slightly different than the US version especially on G-rex and Crown. Can anyone point out the different? I'm not quite sure what they are but those greens seem off to me.

im finding i lip alot more on minna than egwt ...could the greens be faster? or just more pressure :'(

Yeah I lipped a lot too. and chip out from sand is also a little unpredictable. And why so many japanese player using Big Mag? On international server most G0 would go with INF INF but on japanese server about half go with Big mag.

I think they put more emphasize on distance and rely on PI for accuracy.

no difference at all, some holes are different in layout of fairways and shortcuts blocked , likes of safari and euro

but its the same game other than that, if you lipped it in minna you would haev lipped it in HSG, oh and they added a tinny sound to the club impact point and the cup sound when the ball drops

oh and you may be unaware but the majority of text in minna is japanese and hsg is in english

The problem is that I lipped less on hsg, I mean Far far less. I try to land in the spot I familiar with as much as possible only to find bump and slope which I doubt I have seen them before. My solution is I will practice on Minna from now on and get used to green and slope :-\

i think its in your head with the added pressure of trying to compete on minna, i guess the best person to ask would be mace.

I really don't know at this point. It could be in my head since one or tow par mean no pod. pressure pressure. Maybe Mason have some ideas.

like clint said the only differences really are a few holes on safari and euro and as far as I can tell minna has a few more trees in the way of a few shortcuts that you would take on OOBS .... Also the sound effects when you make impact sound more realistic with minna

Yes, I lip out a lot more on Minna, too. I assumed it was because all my players are maxed out on HSG, but I'm usually playing with sub-5 loyalty characters on Minna.

I lipped out 2 chips and a putt during a Nick-only G2 tourney last night at Safari. But I was still in first place by one stroke after 9 holes. Then I got a network error before Hole #10 could start. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother with this game. GRRRRR!

It's not in my head after all. I've talk to several players who told me they too had a tough time with Minna green and took them month before adjudged to it. J-mod very unlucky man, you'd pod first place. I was wonder what happen after you were on the lead. I ended up with 3rd in that tour. Sigh..............

Isn't the button layout different in Minna than it is in HSG. I played the demo PSP version of Minna (before the US demo came out) and the button layout was different than Open Tee 2.

I wonder what the Japanese players would think of our version of the game, with the short cuts unblocked by trees. Would that improve their game or make it worse?

I've played it, I don't lip out any more than do in HSG.
