I hear this a new feature, and you can save a still image of some part of the game to your PS3. Can someone please explain to me how this works? And does it do video also, as in saved shots?
Thanks in advance!

Once the match/game is overwith and the final scores flash up on the screen, then the bottom of the screen will indicate that the "Select" button can take a picture. Once you do that it will take a screenshot of the scores that will save to your PS3 Harddrive.
You cannot take screenshots in mid-game.
As an example, this was from a match earlier this week that we took a screenshot for.

No, it does not do video.
Once file is saved on your PS3, you can retrieve it using a flash/portable hard drive, and upload to your pc/photobucket/etc.

Thanks for the speedy response Morpheus :)
So it's just for the scores, I see. Still a handy feature though. Thanks again man :)

Where in the XMB do you go to extract it?

Correct, only for scores. Yeah, its perfect for our events that we have here! Before they added that, we were just using cell phones and digital cameras, taking pictures of the tv. lol

Once you take the picture, it saves it to the hard drive. Once you're done gaming, plug up your flash drive to the usb port, then in on your main menu of your ps3, there should be a menu item for Photos. From there you select the pictures you want, then "Copy", and it will then detect your flash drive and copy them there.
On the flash drive, it should create a folder called "PICTURES" and thats where they will be copied to.
