I keep a notepad list of all the people that quit on me and cause me to get a loss online by quitting.


So wouldn't you know it, I was playing someone on my list and he got a hole in one on the second hole. And he said a comment like yeah hole-in-one baby, after that I sent Great job and then i hit the sleep button on my psp causing the game to end ( and that means his hole-in-one isn't recorded).


Revenge is sweet. :D

How do you get a loss though if your opponent quits? doesn't it go down as a non event?

No it counts as a game played. And if you are only person left the game automatically ends. A really bad feature.

I would love to exact revenge on some people who have quit on me too.
I would play online a lot more but so many people quit this game it is ridiculous.

yeah thats why I quit playing online.

But thats why you keep a list as well of people that get quit on you.

To some extent I blame OT2 for structuring the online play the way they did. That said, quitters can be unbelievably annoying.

An extreme case from last night - was playing in a normal speed 18h tournament (so you know it took forever) that started with 6 people but was whittled down to 3 by the time we reached the back 9. I was in close contention with one guy ("jeff c"), while another Japanese player was several strokes back. It came down to #18 and I hit a closer 2nd shot that resulted in an eagle. This "jeff c" finishes about 5 seconds later and after realizing I'd beat him on points - I kid you not - proceeds to quit! I mean really, are you kidding me?

I understand people getting frustrated early on (though I still don't think it's ok), but this guy was clearly just trying to screw me because he lost after 18 freaking holes. Fortunately the other player, who was several shots back (and was still playing hole 18 as "jeff c" quit) stuck with it. But really, I sort of think guys who quit after a full 18 should be banned or auto-demoted or something... it's ridiculous.

yeah they really need to address this issue because this really stinks. So what if you get an automatic win, that is how it should be. Or at least let u finish out the game so you get to save your amazing shots in a round.
