Just had probably the best round I've ever had on either game.

Okinawa 18h, Expert character Tree +2 (lol) tournament.

Drove the first hole with a red rabbit and made a decent putt for an, eagled all the par 5s and had two hole outs, a x4 homing on #5 and a pinshot eag on #10.

-25, 5791 points, the #1 score on the monthly leaderboard.

It's the equivalent of "good game".

That one combined with a few others such as "pleased to meet you" (which 95% of people say before every tournament), "nice eagle", "nice ace" and "nice alby" are very common expressions that I've picked up even though I know nothing about the language.

One thing I have noticed that I think is interesting about the Japanese language would be the discipline with which it is used (at least in Minna). Unlike on our server, where 90%+ of the comments are custom (e.g., not default expressions from the menu), it seems like 90%+ of the comments on Minna are default expressions.

It's a Japanese expression that is said after doing hard work. Good job might be an English equivalent but it's not quite right.

jesus.. this does give a fair idea of just how good Minna g0 is..
-25 on oki is mental. Even my very best score round oki wouldn't pod.. i hit -20 as my best round oki and i was well chuffed with that.
i also notice the g0 has 10 pods.. that means a full house wow.. never seen more than 29 in a tourn here..
anyway VERY sweet win.

For the record, during peak hours it's not uncommon to see three FULL G0 tournaments during the same hour block. There's easily 10x the number of people playing Minna than HSG. The lowest populated times there still grab more attention than our peak hours.

as another little curiosity, how much would it cost to import Minna?
coz my dad won't get it, coz he thinks it costs £60 or something. which cant be right, can it?

I don't know the $ conversion, but the game cost me about $60 to import, before shipping costs. Don't know if the price was lowered, chances are the import sites aren't necessarily using the reduced price even if it was lowered though.
