Who here agrees that the emoticons here are very *lame? No offense, but they look terrible. I believe I've complained about this before, but I feel that a change needs to come concerning the smilies. I loved the emoticons when this site was with the old format. Other people(like Gypsyball) are using emoticons from other sites. Speaking of Gypsy, he agreed that the emoticons here are crappy. We need better emoticons, or better looking emoticons.

Here are the emoticons that I think look terrible and should be thrown away:

The "Frown"(sad) emoticon. It looks more embarassed than sad: :(
The "Big Grin" emoticon. That takes the place of Colon D, and I don't like that: :D
The "Stick Out Tongue" emoticon. Whenever I use Colon P, this emoticon shows up, when I don't want it to. I use it to show me being stupid at the time, but it looks like I'm sticking my tongue out at someone like I'm insulting them. I don't like that either: :p
The "Embarassment" emoticon. Simple, this emoticon looks stupid: :o
The "EEK!" emoticon. This one just freaks me out, and should be gone for good:

I'd keep the other 6 emoticons, and replace the ones I just mentioned with better looking emoticons. If possible, add other emoticons to the Smilies list.

yes, I like the old emoticons better, maybe this is something that can be changed in the future.

I'm hoping it can be changed, bcuz what if it can't be changed? I have a feeling that it can't be changed, but I hope it can and will be changed. I'll wait for Morpheus to reply to this, letting us know if anything can be done with this.

Yes, I think there was an emoticon that was crying and another one that was sweaty.

I don't think your opinion matters here ep.

I think not. But I've seen these at other forums that are based on the same layout/system and believe they're implemented in it. :(

So coming from that, I think again, that my opinion DOES matter. :p

I myself am not for those downtimes, chat not working and what not, killing the whole site. I myself dropped from many events because I couldn't use the site. In the end (not even including smilies because it's just that vain :)) you get used to everything. I can't even remember anymore what the old site used to be like. So, I have no complains. I'm just happy that the site is running again smoothly and thank Morpheus hugely for that.

I do not know what initialized the update originally, but I refuse to complain :D

Sorry if this was regarded as meaningless provoking done seemengly due to killing time. And correct me if I'm even remotely off the course. Just saying...

Sorry, I was just surprised to find someone who didn't care about the looks of the emoticons. I figured a lot of ppl hate the current emos that were using.

I think the smilies on here are from the software for this forum. So I don't know if Morph can change it, or add more to it. Let's just be happy that we got this site and it cool features.http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u182/gypsyball/Smilies/69.gif

Here's a link to a lot of emoticons, and I mean A LOT of emoticons. http://www.thegamesvillage.com/forums/smiley.aspx?iswysiwyg=true Just copy and paste an emoticon to your post/comment and have fun with em. Also, thank you Shaq for letting me in on this. I'm glad you're a member of this community. :)
