Welcome to the site,
If you have any questions don't be afraid to ask.
Especially if you don't understand some things. There is quite a lot to learn
and plenty of people here willing to help.

Welcome Viper, enjoy the game & feel free to ask any question at all.
If you see me in the lobby give me a shout, i'll knock a few balls round with you.
Until then, enjoy winning your characters/clubs/balls/courses in single player mode, and then get cracking at your G3 tours!
Good Luck!

LOL, thanks all.
as of last night, Jasmine has loyalty 8, rank semi-pro, have all novice characters, 1st & last intermediate, got beat in shotout with fabian on euro course 1-down.
i knew about the top & backspin, but just starting to play with the fade & draw, i love those, already got me out of some tight spots....
what lobby is the most popular to join online ??

Most people go to lobby 1 on floor 1, or 1-1-1. You're bound to find some people there. :)
And a tip for you; when looking for tours online you don't need to jump from one floor to another to see all the tours in an hour, you can switch floor while watching the tournament list with L2 and R2.

Lol, I guess it's never too late to learn. What is fade and draw? I am L16 G0, I know about top/back spin but I never hear about fade or draw. What are those? C'mon don't be shy, I want to get that 5th G0 win:D

For right-handers, fade is when you hit the ball and it goes left and then curves back right and ends up generally where you're aiming. Different from a slice which starts relatively straight and goes to the right of where you're aiming.
Draw is opposite of a fade, starting right and then bending back left. Hook is the opposite of a slice. I don't play real golf, but I think this is right. :p
