Whats the problem?

I've had 2 people now give me grief for my stats calling me a cheater and a liar, whats up with this? I suppose i should take it as a compliment really but it's a bit anoying being called names....Is it even possible to 'cheat' at HSG? I just don't understand the problem, can anyone enlighten me?

what have you done?

some people do back up data onto usb ( me included) but then they overwrite their data at some point .......an example being

played 39 games at G0 with only one pod.......now this is demotion territory so what they may do is then load up their back up stats with say 34 games and one pod thus giving them aother 5 attempts (based on 39) to get another pod before repeating the process.

are you playing in G1 with another account ??

he cheats dawg thats what he does, although to be fair i dont know if he does now....he did exactly what i kinda typed previously , a g0 wannabe he is..........

but then to be fair since i think he has managed 3 g0 wins now , i just remember a few times in tours he would play then about 2 hrs later when everyone is in leaderboard thing waiting for game to start you could see that he has played less g0 games than 2 hrs before ;D

Robg001 does/did what Clint just said; reloads his save data from a USB stick. Mostly on his G1 account, though. I remember seeing him when I was a G1, and his data ALWAYS said 0-0-0-0 before the tournament, even though he had participated in the previous one. If he didn't win the tournament he reloaded a clean sleet between every tournament...

But I, for one, feel he's getting a little too much of a beating about it. His G0 stats are actually not that bad. A little over a hundred games, with a couple of wins, a few seconds and pods to show for it. Cheating or not, winning G0's is pretty good. I haven't even won my first G0 yet... :(

yeah i think he has stopped it cartman to be fair, still abusive at times though

he did reset his g0 before due to demotion probability

i think he is probably an ok guy overall as some people, he spat the dummy out with me because i deleted him as a freind with the message on the XMB thing " i dont do cheats, bye "

I was just saying to a mate in the lobby how i got 3pb's the other night, as i said this 1 guy came over to me and said yeah wtf ever, i hate liars etc etc. Didn't really accuse me of anything apart from being a liar and i have no idea why but i tried to explain why my stats are ok anyhow to him as i guess thats what his problem was.

So i told him the truth basically i have played EBG since PS1 days back in the UK with a good friend of mine ( round his house on his mighty bravia ) but when i moved to Spain i had to buy my own system and Ragefire was born...

He said yeah ok liar etc etc and we left it at that ;)

No he wasn't, i thought he was a fairly well respected G0 ( gets peeps saying GL to him in tournies etc ) thats why i explained myself to him ( even though i didn't feel i should have to ) but well...he don't get no respect from me ;)

Nah it's not that bad, just a personal disagreement between a poor lvl 16 guy and a jealous lvl 18 dude ;) The reason i posted has been answered ( i didn't think you could 'cheat' ) so was unsure of what he was on about.

I don't want a big fuss made out of this, it's a personal thing like i said and i don't want him hounded. There's not enough of us as it is out there and he just may be that 10th person to join the tourney and for that i will be grateful :)

people i never help bro, u keep playing golf, and forget what people say bro, people say i cheat with the pbs i have there sick but there all good apart from 20 under out on ocean lol, but some of the rest in this game not like people being better than them, i have been playing R2 and this guy from japan send message saying how gd i was which was very nice, this guys record was unreal he very gd to say the least, some have respect some do not bro.
