Trophies

I was wondering if there are any plans on adding trophies to HSG OOB? I like to collect them and I know others do as well. The only thing I liked about Xbox 360 was unlocking achievements. I think the PS3 trophy system is actually better because others can see what trophies you have won and compare theirs to yours. Thanks for any input

I would say probably not. As much as I would like them too, I doubt they would since sales in the united states were not that high. I don't think they would add trophies for a game when they can add it to others ones that have sold better.

The counter-argument is that with trophies being mandatory for games released in 2009, the games without trophies from before will start to stick out more. It's a Sony product after all, there's every chance it will get them. I think it might take a while, is all.

I like trophies they add a little more to a game, i'm fully intending on going back over Uncharted: Drakes fortune just to get my trophies back after i upgraded my drive but it is a little annoying that they can't just be recognised thorugh a sony update via your save file and just be there for you to see. Annoyance is when you've played a game like my friend played GTA 4 get 90+% completion and then a month later see that they have indroduced trophies for the game and they don't update automatically so you have to go back and redo everything.

I'm confused! Is your trophy information stored on your PS3, so that if you replace your HDD you lose your trophies!?! ???

I was hoping that they formed part of your PSN account information!

When you are friends with some one and you click on their avatar it recognises the trophies there so me for instance lvl 3 trophies ttl of 36, but whem you look in the folder Trophey Collection on the game section of you ps3 bar it will say there are no trophies. Thats the only unfortunate thing about changing you HDD. If you're not bothered about seeing what trophies you've collected for what game then i suppose it's not really an issue but if you have OCD like me then it is an issue.

I was at 97.5% and I had to restart my file. The only thing I didn't complete was the unique jumps, I think. Those 200 flying rats took me forever to get. I don't want to do it again, but I guess I will have to for the trophy.


Whats even more bs is the petrovic trophy needs to be completed in one session so good luck wasting 12 hours in a row getting that one.
