I've been told that you can use a bluetooth headset during matchplay. How does that work? I made a Match Play room, but couldn't find a button to speak to the other player!!!! :-[

once you creat matchroom, before you press X to start the timer........press start button and there is an option for "VOICE CHAT"

I tried this out for the first time yesterday.

Once you get to the pre-match screen where it shows who you are playing against
and what characters you are using, you should have a <((( icon next to your name
if you BT or USB headset is functioning properly the <((( icon should move when it
picks up sound from your voice.

It was pretty cool.

Do you guys have a headset because I want one but I don't want to spend crazy loot on it either. Well maybe I would if it is good?


Do you guys have any ideas of what you think is good for a ps3 headset?

in the UK i just bought a 2.0 bluetooth mobile phone one.

its fantastic , clear sound........

get one with subtitles so that you understand me!! :D

I bought the sony BT headset,

It came bundled with SOCOM, but I'll never play it (I don't think)
I picked it up on sale a BB, 49.99 when it first launched.

I got a headset, if i can figure out the imput output bit i'll start talking to some people

i know your problem inter....


go into settings on XMB and change default of your headest.....

the input default is through TV, press down tab and change so that input and output are both labelled (insert name of headset here)

KK will try that out later on, playing minna at the mo just came second in a cheeky 18H at peaks with Toro sand+2, got -11 winner beat my by 28 style points the git.

he aint my favourite but i like the opening scene where the caddy carries him onto the tee box

I'm looking forward to playing matchplay against some you guys and having a chat - the only thing you guys might have to put up with is my wife moaning in the background.

Clint maybe you and i could me up for matchplay give the headsets to the wife and let them bitch and moan about how they are EGWT and Minna widows.

hell yeah, just get them to chat on the main XMB thing .........

mines would start out " i cant get him off this thing, he aint bought a xmas tree yet, the windows need washed, etc etc etc......."

I wouldn't mind the chat feature because sometimes when I try to help people on ball placement on courses, it would be nicer to chat to them rather than typing.

yeah thats very true dawg, thats what i do over at the sony site, so many friends of old and im trying to help them get to G0 and by playing MP on slow i can talk them thru it, they do get a bit intimidated i think,but will then go practise on their own.....

i just make sure its all sq going into the last :)

Oh I love the chat feature, as I prefer match play currently more than any other games.

Others might not agree with though ;)
