Hi :) I'm Mathieu and I am from Quebec in Canada !

I was tired to see that no one is online when I want to play some HSGOT2 on my PSP !!

So, I hope to find people here to play !! I have more than 300 rounds under my belt .. so i'm not a beginner !!

I hope someone hear me out on this one !!

Welcome, Mathieu! There are a core group of OT2 players who often play around 10pm eastern. Most of the evening players are from North America and one is from Japan.

However, the best time to find people online (not just the good folks here) is the morning. Many of the players online are Japanese, and morning is their evening. Plus you get the European folks where it might be afternoon for them. The absolute best time (in my opinion) to find people to play is Saturday mornings.

But during the week, keep an eye on the chat box on the main page of this site. Many OT2ers here use the chat system to put together games. So if you see people chatting, jump into chat and see if they're up for a game. :)


[One important note: I believe the OT2 online servers go down for maintenance on Wednesday evenings from 8 to 10pm eastern.]

If you want to play with other OT2 members, stick from 9pm-12am EST.
However, there is a maintenance on every Thursday at 9-11pm EST.
Generally speaking, if you want other JP players to play with you, try to get online at 8-11am EST. Most of them are G0 (either Wizard or GoG), so you can have a good time with them. :)

Looks like I just missed you!

There is "usually" someone in the chat room about 10pm EST (about right now).

I love to play online and I try to make it online every night (try).

Looking forward to playing a round or two with you.

Wow :) I'm happy to find out that people play online with their PSP :)

I take note of these time frames, thanks a lot :) Like I said, if one of you need a player

I've been playing this great game since september 2009 !!! So, I think I got what it takes to give you great matches !!

I finally played my first online game with my HSGOT2 PSP game :)

But no luck since then .. it was saturday afternoon.. in the night no one :(

I finished runner-up... I imagine it was the nerve since it was the first time for me online match play :)

But I finished with an great Eagle on the 9th hole against someone that is called " Francois " from France

I know I'm better than that since I made -20 today on the 2nd course :)

I hope I will find other people online !!!! Somebody please

Are you in G3 toledo?
If you are, then you can seldom find a player (even a JP) playing in G3, cause most of them (and members in this forum too) are in G0.
In general, if you want to find more players, try to be online at 8-11am EST, where there are many JP players go online, despite their online ranks.:)

G3 .. I imagine it is because I never had a chance to gain ranks .. online .

Lately, I have been waking up to late for making to a 8-11 am game.. :(


It's not that I don't try to play online but no one seems to be there when i'm there :(

I hope tomorrow I get the chance !! But between 4PM to 10PM here for me in Quebec it will be playoffs tv time :) Go Habs Go !!!! Montreal Canadiens all the way !!!

Or you can sit in the chat room between 10pm-12am EST, there are some of our frequent members playing in G0/GF.

YOU bet! I am always glad to help a fellow golfer get to the top online rank so they have a larger pool of people to play. I have G3,G2, & G1 characters also to help move things along

Most (but not all) of our nightly games are GF (any rank can play). If we have a non G0 person in the chat room then we will bend over backwards to play GF games so everyone can be involved.

Game On! we play for the fun of it

Oh, I almost forgot... If you haven't been trying this, do so. G3-G1s are shy little fish, sometimes you have to finesse them out by opening a tourney in SACC or Naka late at night, and soon htey WILL bite.

Today was a sad day for my first PSP !!! I had to do an exchange for a new one :) I'm lucky to get a new one, imagine if I didn't bought the replacement plan !!! Oh my !! And I get to keep all my save games on my memory stick !! I think i must reconfigure all my things... network that kind of stuff :(

Reason of exchange !! D-pad and X button all messed up

My original PSP was black ... bad bad.. for prints :( i wish i had chosen silver or white !!

I did get the same color :)

I'm God of Golf but.. just on 2 course :( My mission is to get last 2 ranks !!!! And also, I had to quit on a tournament online :( sorry to everybody !!! My dog and parents were in my appartment so.. i had to see them .. i miss them you know !!!

When I'm online i must be focus hehe !

Most likely.

As for me I need 3 more Courses (Central, El Andes, Fortress) then I'll be rank Superstar. ;)

It is easy to get to superstar if you can PI and SBS frequently.;)
The only thing matters is the strength of the wind, especially El Andes, mostly calm to 5m, but sometimes can be very strong.

I'm working really hard to get my superstar rank , maybe too hard for my eyes !! !!! Today, ive been able to achieve another favorable high score !!

For the walkthrough... the one that is linked in this forum !!

As far as challenge mode.. lately i was thinking that it was too hard to get items left in black rank but .. hehe i got a head item in match play !!! :)

And.. online.. it seems that I cannot get no one to play in G2 or.. i miss them because I had to see family .. you know

G3 and G2 is horrible when it comes to finding people to play against and even more horrible when they quit on you. Just keep at it you'll eventually rank up. Persistence was the key thing when I was playing online.

And to mcpy's comment: Fortress Yard is giving me a lot of trouble due to wind and the layout of the greens, so it looks like I'll need to practice more on that course. :o

... it is hard but with practice !! i think i can overcome difficulties in that course :)

and yeahhhh it is so hard to find G2 onlline players :(

Yes, im stuck at G2 .. but I wasnt able to stop playing it is so addictive this game !!

Just 10-11-12 to go for me to become Superstar rank or God of Golf !!!

Hi Swifty, not sure what online level you are at G3, G2, G1, G0. But a GF game will not count to leveling up. Also most folks seem to be looking at the level they are at. My main character is G0 so when I go online to play (world server) I search G0.

BUT for our block party events or when a bunch of us get into the chat room (usually 10-12PM EST) we will use GF so everyone can play.

If you need help leveling up I have extra characters setup to help folks get to G0.
