Is there any way to ignore a topic that you're not interested in or can't stand whenever you click "New" or "New Posts"? I want to ignore the pi overrate topic bcuz I'm not into it at all, but it seems that someone has to post in it almost every 10 minutes.
So, is there any way to ignore topics without actually ignoring them?

I just don't bother clicking on the link to the topic I don't want to read.

That's a good question, Clay. Perhaps your reasoning didn't resound with others, but the question is a legitimate one.
Currently, we do not have the ability to choose threads to ignore. You can collapse (close) individual posts within a thread (click the "-" sign on the upper right of a post). And you can ignore members (My Profile -> Edit Ignore List). But there is no way to automatically ignore topics.
I believe there are third party mods that enable this, but we'd have to look at it carefully to make sure it didn't mess with anything else.
