Trying to get Gloria...

Before I toss my psp in the trash, I figured I should ask the question. I have tried every outfit on Chad I can think of...no lipstick and no Gloria...appreciate any thoughts.

Have you recruited every other character? If you haven't, go do that now.

If you have, try the flower kimono thing and the hibiscus (red flower), that worked for me.

Just passing by but thought I'd point out that this is a pretty funny conversation. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say 99 out of 100 random people could not guess this is about a golf game lol. I'd also like to point out I don't have a PSP or OT2 which probably makes it more amusing to read.

yeah the hisbiscus works, but you can use many other items. When you start cross-dressing chad, you will know when you did it right because his lips will turn red

I have all characters, and just tried the kimono and hibiscus and still no luck. Do I have to have a certain loyalty level with Chad? I never use him, so not sure if that is the problem or not.

Try the flamenco dress with the hibiscus or with the ruby ring looking thing.

Just switched my psp on and did it with:

Head: Wedding Veil
Body: Flamenco Dress
Acces: Ribbon

He screeches in an oh so g@y way and his lips go red

Ok... I've been trying to get Gloria for what seems to be forever and have attempted every suggestion I've found on the net from every source I can get my hands on. I have all the other characters and have cross dressed Chad every way I can think of and each time he has lipstick on and talks like a woman... but every time I get to hole 16 on Fortress Yard G.C. Gloria is no where to be seen. This is now my 98th Black Tournament and she has yet to appear. I can't play any online games because there's never anyone online to play anymore. I got lucky once when someone jumped online the same time I did and was able to play 2 online games... that seemed as if it was all pure luck that someone else just happened to be online at the same time I was. So all the online goodies I can't get. Now I'm wondering. Do you have to be at a certain Rank in the tournament before she will appear, because by the time I get to that hole I'm usually down low on the list with a +3 or +4... Just can't get much control outta Chad. I've downloaded all the walkthrus and still can't get her. So... does anyone have any other advice for getting Gloria? Nothing I've tried so far seems to be working. Any help would be great!

Also... does it have to be long tee/short tee.... 9H or 18H... Mirror or Reg... just wish I get her to show up!

Welcome to the site. Here's one tip: You don't have to be in a challenge (black tourny) or online to get Gloria. You can try it in stroke play. Not sure if long tee is required or not but using stroke play will save you a ton of time.

Ummm....anyway I don't think it matters if its long tee or regular tee. I've noticed this when recruiting characters, sometimes it's long tee but most of the time its not (at least for me).

Here's how I crossed-dressed chad:

Long Brown Hair
Ballerina Tutu
Hibiscus

Sometimes this game can be a pain.

Well I tried stroke play and still no luck... gonna try the different variations on the costume to see if it helps. Still no luck in getting Gloria. Gonna try each setting and see if you need to be in 18H or just 9H... I will attempt to get online on the PSP to play a match between 9-10pm every night EST... hope someone will join me!

I found it hard to believe before getting a PSP myself, but it is indeed true. When you cross-dress one of the male characters in OT2 his lips will indeed turn red (automatically applied lipstick, a sign that you've cross-dressed him correctly).

Yep... Hole 16... Fortress Yard G.C... I'm in the right place but the tables are always empty. I'm thinking I have to have a better score by the time I get there in order for her to appear but Chad's swinging Hook makes him difficult to control. Not to mention his Rough and Bunker problems. The last few times I've had problems getting below +7 before that hole. I think the best I've done so far is maybe +5. But no matter what I've done so far, Gloria just hasn't shown her ugly face. Now, I still haven't gotten scores in many of the courses 18H, and I'm thinking that may be the problem. I just don't know anymore. When everyone else goes there, what settings are they using? Are they using Easy Mode/Normal Mode? Do they have all the online matches under their belt to be a G3? Have they gotten scores in all the various courses in every option (IN, Out, 18H)? All all the other characters they've unlocked been maxed out with loyality? I just don't know what I'm missing here. Oh and Rino... I know what you mean... cross-dressing is not my forte... but hey, blame the programmers... They are the ones with the sick minds here! Just be happy you didn't have to dress him up as a Nun! LOL

ive played through this game at least 3 times and have gotten her every time.. if anything, try playing on full 18 hole games and try long and short tees i know ive gotten her just by playing back 9 but that was me....and MAKE SURE U REALLY DO HAVE EVERYONE ELSE or she WONT SHOW UP

Okay, I've been playing for many times too in order to get Gloria, and finally found her today. I think there was a misunderstanding of unlocking all the "other" characters. On character screen #2, there was one space left of a question mark, and I thought that was for Gloria, but the truth is not, that spot is actually reserved for Holly...(Well, my case was her, and I guess you have to go through the list, and unlock "everyone" meaning unlock every question marks..) then replay the level with cross-dressed chad, then Gloria will be found, and added into a forth spot in the expert players...

UPDATE: Finally Got Gloria!!

Ok... I finally figured out my problem after 308 games. The problem was that I never got Roger... didn't even realize it, When you got all but 1 character left to get you have one open space in your character slots, and I thought it was for Gloria, but no it was Roger... once I got Roger, Gloria showed up on the 12th course, 16th hole right where she was suppose to be. So... there should be no open slots on your character list... all of them should be filled. The last one isn't Gloria, it's Roger!

What kinda freaky game is the OT2!? And you have to FIND people? LOL I think the OT2 game sounds even more fun than OOB. BUt I hate small screen handheld games. :mad: Oh well... sounds cool anyway :)

I agree with you OG, the small screen and lesser graphics is the biggest put-off about OT2 for me as well. That, and the lack of adv. swing. But it has several nice features that OOB would've become a much better game if it too had had them.

Like the ability to dress your players different ways, and have it affect your skills on the course. That way playing for parts would've actually meant something, since you could actually use them for something other than on your non-playing lobby character.

The touring system is a mixed bag in OT2, but I like how anyone can set up a new tournament at any time and see who joins it. That way you can start a game whenever there are enough people around, and don't need to wait 2 hours before the next scheduled tournament...

Opening up new characters and items through different quests on the courses also makes it more enjoyable.

Hopefully several or all of these things will be incorporated in the next installment of HSG on PS3...
