PS3 dialog box at the top right of the screen

You know that little box at the upper right that tells you who has signed out or signed in? Is there anyway to disable that feature? It gets really annoying when the same person signs in, signs out, signs in again, then sgins out again like 5 times in less than a minute (paul hall!). It's really irritating whenever I'm in an important golf match. I don't wanna have this thing distract me to the point where it costs me a match or a tour or a pod.

Also, I worry about that box popping up when I'm recording videos or taking pictures of my performances/best HSG: OB shots. I'd feel embarassed if that were to happen to me. Don't want people asking, "Hey! Who's this KRONZZZ person?" You know what I mean? Sorry for putting you on the spot there K. You were the lucky person I picked. ;)

Again, is there anyway to get rid of the little box?

Yes, look through your options in your xmb.
Find "System Settings"
then "System Notifications"
and turn them off.

It will stop alerting you to when people sign on/off, you won't get notifications regarding messages received (which annoys me) LOL :)

I've had mine turned off for years, but the bad thing about it is you won't know if you receive a message until you look in your message box. And since I only go online 1-2 a week, it's kind of hard to reply to a "hey want to match in 15min?" a whole 3-4 days later :)
