Congrats Rino! :D No offense, but it's nice to see someone there besides RD and Cars (though it does seem that an 80+ win streak should guarantee your #1 ranking longer). It means there is some nice competition in this game, and people can improve.

My damn eagle chip was .3 feet short. So I did what any person would do and kept hitting it to the fringe, and practiced my chipping. I really wanted a flag but just missed twice. Ended up with a riser/flag by my 3rd chip. Oh well, haha.

i had a streak of bad luck. a 95% faiway approach on #1 into sand. a lip w/ sfs next. a 94% off tee on par 3. a sw approach w/ sbs that went straight in the cup and bounced out w/ no homing pin contact was enough after 4 holes. tha game was basically not gonna let me win. plus they didnt count for anything to me athough i was very dissapointed. and i take on all. still no challenges. >:(

Dream, I think the fact that Nathy has slowed down on ladder matches isnt due to him being #1, but because he is playing Minna. I have it myself, and I will admit my time on OOB is MUCH less now. I think if you ask most of us that have Minna, you will find we play over there more.

ahh right. i wanna get lvl 20 in europe first. 5 wins and no lvl 17 is annoying. why do they not reward you for doing better than that is expected. i checked EG leaderboards and i can find 3/4 people including me at the wrong lvl.

Remember this is a Japanese game not a Western one. Perserverance and patience are considered highly regarded traits in Japan so you are not being punished by not being promoted just because you reached the required number of wins as you haven't completed the task in full (spiritual, eh?). If this was a western made game than the winning is everything mentality would have gotten you promoted with just the necessary wins.

and kx is wayyyy beyond lvl 20 but he's not even close to having played 200 games

yeah the level only gives an idea on how good of a player you are. Heck I am still level 16 and I can hang with anyone :)

I just hit level 19 actually (200 tournaments). 17 is 120, 18 is 160 and 20 is 240. I didn't know at first until I looked it up.

There isn't a tournament requirement for level 20. Once you hit Level 19 all you need is the 30 wins and you should be promoted to Level 20.
