I think they'll squeeze out a DLC character sometime this year. Courses would take too much dev time considering they're probably working on the (new) courses for the next game right now. I predict Minna 6 in Nov/Dec and HSG/EG 6 Mar/Apr next year. I think that's the typical Clap Hanz timetable, and that conforms with their roughly three year gaps between releases. The new game will have all of the current courses and characters and roughly double that with new content (so 6-8 new courses). Plus a combined world server like OT2 (and, of course, PS trophies). Those are my predictions.

But yeah, I think a DLC character is more likely to happen first this year.

Haven't seen anything for awhile so my guess is they are developing the next installment and we won't see anything until late this year early next year. My guess is 2011 as things seem to take longer on the PS3 than PS2 but I wouldn't be surprised if they scrap the non-Japan release altogether. Sales outside of Japan were pretty weak on the whole and with the games being region-free on the PS3 Clap Hanz knows all the hard core players will pick up the Japanese version anyways.

They did give a new holiday themed costume in minna so they either devolped it or they have things hidden that they could release so I hold out hope for something new.
