First g3 tourney, first g3 win

How sweet is that? It was a Sophie only tour on...cough cough...Okinawa...cough cough. I must have a cold or something, sorry about that. Anyway, it was a 9 hole tour, I can't remember which set of 9. I entered the last hole in 4th place, I eagled the last hole, a par 5. I came out of it in 2nd, but the actual leader withdrew, giving me the win. Not how I wanted to win, but hey, I'll take it. I believe my score was a -8.

I hope this win is a sign of good things to come.

I was in a G3 tourney recently just helping out and got hammered. WTH? Sneaky L20s.
Some of the scores are not 1/2 bad.

The winner who withdrew may have been a second account who just entered the tournament in order to make it official. You need at least 10 participants for the scores to count, and since there are quite few G3s left now some higher leveled players some times enter the G3 tournaments to help others advance. At the end they quit so that they don't steal the points.

So I would guess your win is legit. Congratulations! You're well on your way to G2 now.

Thanks guys. Btw, the tour started off with 14 players and finished with 11, so I guess that means I AM on my way. Can't wait for the next tour.

Your G3 stats are already better than mine CB. I promoted from G3 with just 2nds and 3rds lol. How many lvl 20's have zero G3 wins?

I also noticed that there were some topics talking about that you can get demoted a grade level. Is this true? If so, then how do you get demoted?

I think it's less than 2 points in a block of 20 at G2, 3 in 30 for G1 and 4 in 40 for G0 (maybe 3 in 40 for G0).
